the "new" clutch is in and the transmission slipped right on. My dad helped out today, mostly moral support, but it was great. Had to Macguyver a solution for the alternator, but i think it will work. ran out of daylight and had some socializing to do today, but everything is ready for the engine to go back in.
Messed around with the camber plates tonight - if i turn them sideways I can gain 1.5" (or ~3.75 degrees) of positive caster. When turned sideways the plates still offer ~ 1 degree of negative camber at the camber plate, so I should be able to get the rest at the bottom of the strut. the next thing i need to learn to do is a home alignment.
maximum negative camber at the bottom of the strut is -2.5 degrees.
